How do you get a boyfriend in The Sims 2 Pets?

Dunno whether the 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' cheat works on Ps 2 but if you type that in exaxctly then shift and click on a the person you want to have a boyfriend and a number of options should come up. Where it says more click on it until you see an option that says spawn, search through that until you find wishing well and click on it. The well will appear. All you have to do then is click on the well Wish... For Male or Female, in your case you will pick male! He (or she) will automatically fall in love with the person who wishes them from the well after they have there first kiss, which they normally do automatically as well. The only problem with this cheat is the age of the person that comes out of the well they may be old... eww if you're not an old person- bonus if you are and secondly the only way they will be younger than an adult is if they're still in university. A teenager or younger will never come out of the well. To overcome the two problems: 1. (If old) either kill them off and wish for a new person a day later (one wish per day) or just wish for another person and cheat on them, but it won't really matter! 2. (If college or Uni student) wait for them to finish college or uni- this could take time or if you know which uni they're at use the boolprop cheat to graduate them (Spawn... Semester Tester) or wish for a new person!

Spend lots of time with the other sim and pursue friendly and romantic actions with the sim you want to be your boyfriend. Eventually, your relationship will grow to the point of "significant other."

To get a boyfriend, all you have to do is start flirting with him, etc. Its a good idea if you become friends with him first though, especially if he is already in some sort of relationship.

Talk to the person until you become friends (sometimes it takes being best friends-especially if they are already with someone) then use romantic options until you can "Go Steady"
