EDIT: Go into the Jaguar Temple (you need to be invisible) and collect all of the large blue crystals. Then, you'll get an frozen critter. Get out of the temple and go to Kaan, who is a dragon. He is located underneath the ghost guarding the Jaguar Temple. Click on him and he will ask you want to do. Click on 'Reanimate a Critter'. It will cost 2,000 coins. Only Silver Explorers can reanimate crystal critters.

Collect pieces of the large, bluish crystals on each plauteau. Once u have them all give it to Khan the snake dude outside the Temple and he will turn it into a real critter (THIs REQUIRES TWO THOUSAND COINS) To get a kitty: Get all the statue pieces in the Garden Gazebo. Get also some Moxie Mulch from Kat de Claw. Hive them all to the walking flowers, and boom, you have a kitty.
