You can let it air dry or you can use a blow dryer. If you decide to, don't use the highest/hottest setting, use a comb attachment, or a diffuser.
I am looking to replace the fine comb for the Vidal Sassoon hair dryer...
Its really easy to straighten your hair with a hair-dryer. To straighten your hair using a hair-dryer you need to comb/brush your hair then get a hair-dryer and put the heat level on high for about 20 seconds whilst combing/brushing. Then turn the hair-dryer off and just your hair will be straight. It may be frizzy but for this you can use hairspray to flatten.
Yes, you can. You need to buy a straightening brush from a drug store. All you do is point the dryer straight down over your wet hair and comb through it with the brush. Ta-da!
A diffuser on the hair dryer is used typically for curly hair, allowing it to dry and not frizz or pull out the curls. It can also be used to add volume and body.
don't use the highest/hottest settinguse a diffuser or comb attachment
Putting alot of heat on your head is damaging period. If you are talking about pressing your head with a ironing comb, that is worse damage of all because you are frying your head. If you are African American, and like a straight style, you may want to try a mild relaxer and then wet set your hair on rollers. You can buy a bonnet attachment for your blow dryer.
some ppl can use flatirons blow dryer with a comb but in my case never put the heat up so much it can really fry your hair
run the comb through the hair
To do Havana braids, you will need hair extensions (kanekalon hair), a comb, hair clips, hair ties or rubber bands, and a hair moisturizer or styling gel. It's also helpful to have a hair dryer for sealing the ends of the braids.
If a comb is stuck in your hair, try to cut little bits out of the comb, so it is easier to get the hair out. Get little pieces of hair out of the comb at a time. When the comb is out of your hair, your hair will be a little knotty so brush it out well. If you have detangling spray, spray that on your hair. This will work well.
Hair is attracted to a comb because of the buildup of static electricity on the comb and on the hair. This buildup occurs when you pass the comb through the hair, and can be reduced or eliminated by adding a little bit of water to the comb or to the hair. Depending on the material of the comb, either the comb will be positively charged and the hair negatively charged, or it could be the other way around. Since opposing charges attract each each, the hair then is attracted to the comb.
