OK, you have taken a certain amount of time and effort to post this question. Compare that to the effort, time and pride that the orthodontist who straightened out your teeth invested. Granted, the orthodontist was paid and your effort cost little, imagine if your question went unanswered. The orthodontist is not mad, but, you have to believe that when you don't follow orders, there is a certain amount of frustration. Wear your retainer and respect your orthodontist's advice. There is no other way to avoid annoying your orthodontist.
