I don't think you can if you've already got them. For future reference, I owned a 11 y.o. VERY well trained English Sheepdog, and then got a brand new cat. They would share water bowls and everything. The trick is to introduce a cat to an older, trained dog, then the cat will not feel threatened.

∙ 12y agoI've got a cat and a dog really young, so they grew up together, and obviously they play and some times sleep toghether.
My cat is a common one and my dog is a chihuahua.
I have 2 more dogs (common and a french poodle) they don't match with my cat, but not harm it either. There is respect among them.
