In the very beginning, when you bring the shopkeeper lady her cat back, she should give you a half-drunk jar of milk.
If you are talking about the Bottles, you should be able to buy it from the guy who gave you your lantern in Faron Woods.
Do you mean the first game? There called bottles.
There is no technical "third jar" in Twilight Princess. It all depends on the order you get them in. There are four possible jars to recieve. I will list them and you can pick out which one(s) you need. Ordon Village: You recieve this jar after you feed the cat a fish. The cat runs back to the shop keeper. Follow it into the shop and you will be rewarded with a jar of milk. Coro: By the entrance to the Faron Woods. Talk to him and he will offer you a jar of lantern oil for 100 Rupees. Take this deal and aquire the jar. Jovanni: Collect 20 Poe Souls and give them to Jovanni. He will reward you with a jar of fairy's tears. Take the jar. (side note: fairy's tears will be given to you after you finish the Cave of Ordeals in the Gerudo Dessert.) Hena's Fishing Hole: Go to Hena's fishing hole which is located in the upper Zora River behind the Howling Stone. Find a sign near the back and read it. Then cast your line. It may take a while but eventually you will recieve a jar. Hope this helps!
To get the first jar, you must first find the missing cat. It is near the dock in the village. You then proceed to catch two fish from the dock where the cat was. The cat will steal the second fish. Go to the village store and talk to the shopkeeper. She will give you a bottle half full of milk.
