unnderneath the lawnmower there should be 4 main bolts near each corner of the motor theese need to come out

no. not good idea
You might have a problem with the fly-wheel brake if it has one. Take the shroud off the top of the motor and check the cable to the brake if it is OK you already have the cover off so the recoil will be off too, check it and see if it is bound on something.
Let it run out of gas. or put a kill switch coming from the condenser and ground it to the body of the lawnmower.......the contact with the frame should ground out the motor thus killing the motor
MY lawn mower will start to sputter if I run the choke on after the motor is warmed up. It's getting fed too much fuel. Ease off on the choke and it will run better, usually.
the starter is attached to the motor under the flywheel. look for the battery cable going from the solonoid to the motor and that will be the starter
50mph
i wish i knew
I think a electric lawnmower would be cheaper because current usage goes off the amount of amps and if you have a lawnmower that has a low voltage then it would cost you less.
Yes
Most lawnmower batteries will be badly abused by this and it will be quite expensive in gasoline. A lawnmower battery will normally take 8 hrs (or so) to charge. Forcing them to charge faster, like off your car, will harm it.
To replace a drive cable on a Troy Bilt self propelled lawnmower, first make sure that the lawnmower is turned off. Then, locate the drive cable and remove it according to manufacturer instructions.
