In order to get the light house in your town you have to donate 1,000,000 bells to the town fund. I do have a list of things you CAN also get
Bridge: Donate 100,000 bells < (Um... No. It's 200,000 Bells -Hollie)
Fountan: Donate 500,000
Windmill: Donate 1,000,000
Once you donate 1,000,000 bells you do a vote on building the windmill or the lighthouse. You have to make a good choice because you can't do it again.

∙ 14y agoDonate 1,700,000bells to the town fund then you will get:
200,000 Bell's= 1 more bridge
700,000 Bell's= A town Fountain
1,700,000 Bell's= A choice of having a lighthouse or a windmill
( you can not get the lighthouse or windmill before you get the bridge and the town fountain)

∙ 12y agoSome time in December, the mayor will talk to you and say that he will go on vacation. He will then ask you to turn on the Light House at 6 P.M. (or something like that, I forgot the time) for several days while he is gone. When it's 6, the Light House door will open for you to go inside.

∙ 12y agoyou have to first donate 200,000 bells and a get a bridge, then donate 400,000 bells to get the fountain, then donate 1,000,000 bells to get the lighthouse or a wind mill. Based on what i heard, it is random. So you have to donat a total of 1,600,000 bells to get either a lighthouse or a windmill.
