How do you get a member animal on animal jam?

You first have to press the 'switch animals' button. Then press 'make a new animal'. You can choose from what animals Animal Jam has made, then make a name for your animal. Once you are done that, then you can buy the animal.

Note: If you have trouble with making up a name for your animal, click the red lever. It will randomly pick a name for you.
