What do you do with the mermaid statue to become a mermen in zoo tycoon?

As far as I know you can't. Unless you can find a download somewhere on a Zoo Tycoon Downloading site. However, you can get a mermaid in Zoo Tycoon 1. You buy a Mermaid statue and place it in the water. It would be so cool if you could do this on Zoo Tycoon 2.

∙ 11y agoYou must have Marina Mania installed. You get the Mermaid Statue and simply drop it in a tank. It becomes a 'real' mermaid.

You have to have Zoo Tycoon, Marine Mania. The mermaid statue comes as part the game but you have to unlock it. You know... by playing the game and time. It's in one of those "You have just unlocked new animals and items" pop-up thingies. Hope that helps! ~DarkestNyght

I am pretty sure they're 7 mythical creatures they are the... Yeti, Sasquatch, Unicorn, Giant Squid, Lochness Monster, and Evil penguin and the Mermaid. To unlock the Unicorn rename an exhibit Xanadu. To unlock the Evil Penguin, make a penguin exhibit and then put a zebra in the exhibit, the penguin will kill the zebra and it will become faster. To get the mermaid make an empty tank and put a mermaid statue in it.
