Firstly you have to unlock the 3rd mine, unfortunately I have forgotten how to do this, but I think you have to go to the mine early on a Saturday morning., sorry if this doesn't work. :\
Anyway you have to have the 3rd mine in order to be able to find Mystrile in the rocks you can smash with your hammer.
