After you obtain the eight gym badge and beat the Pokemon league,go to the cave in Mt.Coronet with the waterfall, scale the waterfal and go into the opening ahead, you should see a few pokeballs, pick them up to get the Adament Orb(Dialga) and the Lustrous Orb(Palkia).If you get both orbs, Dialga is the first one you encounter, defeat or capture it,leave Spear Pillar, then go back to encounter Palkia.
