settings> General> Passcode Lock
What do you do if you locked your ipod nanao screen and then forgot your password???
A PassCode can be set in the General section of the Settings on the Home Screen.
When your iPod is on the temporary lock mode, just hit the home button and slide the button at the bottom across the screen. If you need a password, slide the button first and type in the password. If it is locked as in you cannot do anything to it, turn it off and then back on.
You can't really hide the iPod screen. If you have it set on a lock (requires a password to unlock), then just press the sleep/wake button. Either that, or you can just press the Home button to temporarily exit out of what you were in.
