guinea pigs are quite alert creatures so they do not learn to trust you very quickly, even if it trusts you it could take one wrong move to shatter it. my guinea pig and me get along fairly well but he is still causios if i make a sudden jump or somthing even though we've had him for over 1 year. my advice is to let him relax when he wants to and try some hand feeding , hand feeding guinea pigs shows them that you mean them no harm and just trying to be their friend, treat it like a human. hope I've helped.
If you believe in your guinea pig, he will know the way to the light of your trust in the gathering land. Yes.
Trust me...It's not...
NO.If you wash a guinea pig in a week the next week it still be kinda clean but in 2 week 1/2 without washing it it might lose it's trust in you so like clean it with special guinea pig wipes with it so clean and it can trust you forever.
u can do that when the run is secure enough and u trust your piggie.
no the mom guinea pig will lick and eat the outside of the newborn guinea pig and you will not half to dry it or anything, if you watch a hamster or guinea pig giving birth on youtube or something or any animal you will not half to dry it the mom does all the work. trust me.
Well a lot of the questions i ask are answered by (pink pig) and i trust them because their answers are reasonable and i look the question up other places and they are true. thanks.
consistently holding her and cuddling her. Also lots of carrots--they will come to the side of the cage squealing for them
it will rather lick you or bite you if it bites you its getting used to you. wait till it firmly licks you
well go into a quite space away from everything sit sort of laid back in a chair and put the guinea pig on your stomach.Keep petting its back for a while. You should hear it start to purr that means its warming up to you.Keep doing this everyday and you and your guinea pig will have a good friendship.
By holding it and training it,slowly it will trust you.You need to hold him or her every day if you can .
it depends on the guinea pig, if the guinea pig doesn't trust you very much the guinea pig might run away. But if you have had it for a long time and it trusts you it just might walk around or just go near you ps...if this is your first time with the guinea pig just have all dangerous things or things you dont want to be bitten away and also have all doors closed in case it does run away.
I would suggest to use Pine because Cedar can make them sneeze a lot. Trust me I tried it.
