It really depends on how good the condition is of the iPod Touch, but definitely if it is good condition you should get and iPod Touch, but iPod Nano's are great too, I have one and they are easy to use, have heaps of memory, and are really great.

Well when I got the iPod Touch 4G, I immediately thought of how it would be immediately replaced with a 5th generation. I was rather happy when I found out about the iPhone 4S. No new iPod! So now we KNOW next year comes with a new iPod Touch. But, you could just buy the iPod 4th generation and enjoy it while it lasts. Or, you can wait for the next one. (You could wait for the next generation and buy an iPod Touch 4th generation for REALLY cheap :D ) Your choice really...

If you are sending in an iPod for repair, they probably will send back the same iPod.
