The Red Gyarados can be caught in Pokemon Versions, Gold, Silver, and Crystal at the Lake of Rage, the Red Gyarados is level 55-60. In other versions you have to catch them on luck with the Super Rod. Note: Red Gyarados and Shiny Pokemon are extremely rare. Also they are no more powerful than normal colored Pokemon, they just look unique. But is really hard so if you go at night and you have a better chance of catching one. Also you can get it if you insert the cheats game
(cant remember the name, sorry!) and play Pokemon platinum, catch a magikarp, whos level must be under 20, get level to 20, and it will evolve into Red gyrados!(must be caught with super rod!)
Actually there is no red Gyrados. I mean there is, but a red Gyrados is a shiny Gyrados.

It exists only in Johto. Its just a shiny Gyrados. Fish for Gyrados, in 10, 000 tries you are sure to get one. That's how rare it is.
The red Gyrados is found in the Sendoff lake at the Spring Path.

Your magicarp will evole into a gyrados about Lv.20 or between levels 20-30.
no
Red Tsunami (Gyrados) is not in Pokemon Emerald, however, there is a 1:5167 chance that if you see a "Tsunami" (Gyrados) it will be coloured, and a 1:498237 chance that if you see a "Tsunami" (Gyrados) it will be red!AnswerI don't know whats with these odds, but there is actually a 1 in 8635 of it being a differant Pokemon color. Such as red, green, ect; These differant color Pokemon are called SHINY Pokemon. They fetch high prices on trades.
go to a place were there are normal gyrados and look for ages
red gyrados is actually a 'shiny' gyrados, meaing it's just a weird thing that the Pokemon games have were every couple 10,000 Pokemon or so. so in order to obtain a red gyrados you would have to go through quite a lot of finding a shiny gryados or shiny magikarp(if you evolve taht it should stay shiny)
