Yes no metter what 3DS is a 3DS
There are no '3DS XL' specific games. There are only '3DS games'. The XL is simply a larger model of the 3DS, not a new device.
Sometimes 3DS consoles are sold as a bundle deal with a game included, this game is a digital copy from the 3DS store. If a 3DS XL comes with a game it will clearly say so on the packaging, if there's nothing on the box then it's just a regular 3DS XL with no game preinstalled.
If you download a 3DS game or DSi Ware (not DLC) from the Nintendo eShop, the game will appear on the home menu for the 3DS XL.
No there isn't.
Basically the 3DS XL is a larger 3DS so if you want a larger screen size, go for the 3DS XL. The 3DS is cheaper and is smaller if the XL is too bulky for you.
If you buy Mario Kart 7, retail or eShop download, it will be the full version and can be played on the 3DS, 3DS XL, and 2DS
No, It's for both 3DS and 3DS XL. 3DS XL is just a larger version of the 3DS.
I think it's the Nintendo 3DS XL.
Of course. The 3DS XL is just bigger. It can still play normal DS and 3DS games.
If it's one of the ones that come with a game already installed, then you can transfer a 3DS profile to it and the XL's game will be added to your profile, it will not be overwritten. However if the new XL already has a profile (a Mii, etc) then anything specific to that profile will be overwritten, and anything on its SD card will be inaccessible.
The 3DS XL came after the 3DS.
