If it has a sliding tray, sometimes there is a small hole below the drive that can be pushed by a bent paperclip, forcing it open. Otherwise, send it into an Apple store for servicing.

Also note that on computers with OpenFirmware (PowerPC G3-5) you may be able to boot into OpenFirmware and send the command "eject cd". To boot into OpenFirmware hold Command-Option-O-F. To boot into Mac OS simply send the command "mac-boot".

break it in to 2 parts lol no place the disk drive open and if it not there i may be on the reader or stuck up so if on the reader take to a place and they will take reader out and take of disk or u place a swear driver in the hole of disk and gently wiggle out

some CD Roms will have a little hole on the front if it. You can use a pin or something small to manually eject the tray. Another way you can do it is by removing the CD Rom from the laptop and taking the top cover off.

Look for the hole on the cover of the CD player and stick a paperclip in it to open manually
