BACS is an acronym for "Bankers' Automated Clearing Services."
Lungs do not remove alcohol from your bloodstream. When you drink alcohol, your lungs exhale about 5% of alcohol which is why any consumption of alcohol can be picked up on breathalyzer tests.
The level of alcohol we exhale closely parrells the concentration of alcohol in our blood stream. Alcohol is metabolized in the liver not the lungs.
nothing, it damages your liver,
I believe that if you inhaled alcohol vapors directly into your lungs, the capillaries would burst and you would bleed to death.
None, unless they contain a lot of alcohol. Alcohol breath is caused by alcohol leaving the bloodstream via the lungs. It does not originate in the mouth.
lung cancerpneumonia
Yes. Abuse of alcohol, over the years, can enlarge your heart. This effects the "Heart, lung Machine", (heart, liver & lungs). The heart works harder to pump blood through the body, and red blood cells carry oxygen to the lungs, which is now being deprived. This can lead to heavy breathing, and heart attack.
Even tiny amounts of alcohol have a depressant effect. The first noticeable effects, however, are on the parts of the brain that provide social controls. Thus, when they become depressed, we begin to feel "loose," and we interpret that as stimulation. Generally this occurs at BACs of around .03 to .05%.
