it's VERY complicated, first you beat oracle of seasons and get all the rings you can get so far, then buy oracle of ages and enter the secret to labryna, then get all the rings on there, (don't forget the damage taken vvv (down down down) damage dealt vvv ring in the heroes cave somewhere in maku road) then beat the linked oracle of ages game,
you will get the heroes secret, enter it on oracle of ages and then get all the rings that you can ONLY get on a non-linked game, then, beat the game again, enter the secret to holodrom in oracle of seasons, get all the rings you can ONLY get in a linked game,
but then don't beat the game because that will start you from last save point, once you can go beat the game on you'r oracle of seasons linked game, go get the ring secret on ALL you'r datas/files then enter them on ALL you'r datas/files, sorry it takes long but
it can't be helped, for more information about the rings enter this url,
which will tell you how to get the rings and what they do, you can also bookmark the zelda wiki, or just remember, www.zeldawiki.org
oops, i almost forgot the damage dealt ^^^ damage taken ^^^ ring in the oracle of seasons "linked game" harder version of heroes cave (MUCH harder) and if you don't know what a linked game is, wich i'm sure you do, go to the zelda wiki and enter,
"linked game" to find out EXACTLY what a linked game is, Also my 3 favorite rings is
the light ring level 2, from ages, and my 2second fav. is the blue joy ring from
either game (linked game) that makes enemies drop double hearts! and maple's ring
(makes it so you find maple from killing 15 enemies) obviously to get more rings ^_^
and the potion that revives you once, (gee, it takes long to get all the rings huh?)
now, sorry this answer is so big but that's how long it takes, (btw if you'r heroes secret data/file dosent share ring secrets with you'r linked games you'r out of luck)
There is more information on the rings in related links.
The Hero Code is NNNNN NNNNN NNNNN NNNNN and the Ring code is dependent on your linked game.

In tropical trees, the rings in the xylem are not annual like the growth rings in temperate trees. Instead, they can represent periods of growth that may be influenced by factors such as rainfall patterns, rather than yearly cycles. Therefore, they do not provide a reliable way to determine the age of a tree as tree rings do in temperate regions.
Tree rings or annual rings tell how old the tree is.
