you have find to get an old amber while breaking stones usually in the ruins of alph and revive it in the museum at pewter
In the Ruins of Alph area, use Rock Smash. Although fairly rare, you can get Old Amber. Take that to the museum in Pallet Town to get your Aerodactyl.
