Unscrew the top of the aerial tube on the guard, remove the old aerial and insert the new plastic rope. Turn the radio on and off a few times till the winder grabs the rope, last turn it off and guide it into the tube. Screw the top back on and job done. If there is still rope from the old aerial that has broken off then you will have to remove the wheel arch trim and remove the aerial motor assembly from the vehicle and open up the winder to get the rest of the plastic rope out.
