You get banned from yoville by getting reported by other players. report buttons are everywhere, you can see them by clicking on a player, in your message box, and even on some interactive items (such as the carve-able pumpkins).

Sometimes a player may be banned from events by using words forbidden by the yoville staff, such as swear-words and words like "gay" and "sex". any infraction of this kind will either give you a warning or automatically ban you from creating events, depending on how many times a day you attempt to make an event of this type.

Swearing is altogether banned in yoville, and many people report players who constantly swear. If the player is reported enough time he or she is banned from the game for a set amount of time, and this ban time increases each time the player is reported in this fashion again.

So basically, players get banned because they get reported multiple times. So if you don't want to be banned, refrain from using foul language, making forbidden events, crude humor, and scamming (Falsely taking money and/or items from other players).
People are banned for scamming, swearing, cursing, racism and other rude and obnoxious acts.
