there is only one way to get Bayleef in platinum. First you need to get chickorita and evolve it in gold , silver or Chrystal. Bring it forward to fire red , leaf green , emerald , sapphire or ruby. when that is done you can bring it forward to platnium via pal park (only open after you get the national pokedex).
