when you click on 1 clock it will start going faster. when you are ready to start and need to press a clock to start... click the slower 1 first it will go faster. when both are at about the same speed... DON'T CLICK ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u click on the clocks until they both are at 12 o'clock
Make them go at the same time
In the bedroom are two mantle clocks, both with hands turning around. When both hands reach the top (12 o'clock), a skull pops up on a spring. The object is to get both skulls to pop up at exactly the same time. (The phone call says the clocks must strike midnight together.)Putting you mouse cursor over either of the clocks will speed it up. When you move the cursor away, it continues to run faster for a few seconds. By changing the speed for one or both clocks, you can eventually get them both to show 12 o'clock (both hands straight up) at almost exactly the same moment. When you do, a lantern appears in the fireplace.(see related question)

keep on trying my friend!
To get the clocks to strike midnight (both 12 o'clock, skulls pop up) at the same time, place your mouse cursor over either one to make it move faster. By varying the speeds, you can make them both hit 12 o'clock at about the same time.

The object is to get both clocks to "strike midnight" (12 o'clock) at the same time, so that both the skulls pop up at about the same time. Placing your cursor over either of the clocks will speed it up for awhile, and hopefully make them reach 12 at the same time. (This takes a few tries.)
Clocks were turned forward at 2:00 am on March 12, 2017.
Click on the clocks over the fireplace in the bedroom (third floor left). A skull pops up when a clock strikes midnight (both hands point up). The object is to have both skulls pop up at the same time...but the clocks show different times. By placing your mouse cursor over one of the clocks, you cause it to speed up. When you move the cursor away, it goes back to its regular speed after a few seconds. By speeding up one, or both, of the clocks, you can get them to keep about the same time. You can get it fairly close, then at the last second before 12, speed the slower one up so that both skulls come out at practically the same time. This may take a little practice. Be sure to keep the cursor away from both clocks until you want one to speed up. A lantern will appear in the fireplace. There is kerosene fuel for it under the stairs in the basement.
You try to get both of the clocks to strike midnight at the same time. Holding your cursor over either one of the clocks makes the time go faster. Once you have them running close together, move the cursor away until almost 12 o'clock, when you can make the final small change to bring both skulls up at the same time.
I am guessing you are talking about the two clocks in the Haunted House. Well, if you click on one, it slows that one down, as the opposite clocks goes faster. You have to make the little arm and the big arm on both clocks turn 12:00 (both hands straight up) at the SAME exact time. This can be tricky, but not impossible. Good Luck! ~emilyluvsya
