If you have a suspended license you shouldn't be driving and won't need car insurance. On the other hand, if you are attempting to comply with a court order to get car insurance before getting a provisional license, you may have to go to one of the insurance companies that cover special needs. Call around to different insurance companies to see whether they will write a policy that covers what you want. It may cost extra though.
OR... just call an insurance company Like NationWide and they will do it in the State of Washington. I just did.
You can't get car insurance if your drivers license has been suspended.
Provisional license insurance is a cheap car insurance that is mostly for young drivers. These are especially made for student drivers as well.
No, clearly not.
Yes, your license can be suspended and usually is when you receive a ticket for no Insurance. The fact youwere driving without insurance has no bearing on whether you have a car or not.
There are some companies that will offer insurance if your license is suspended, your best bet is a local insurance company that represents multiple insurance companies.
I think it depends on your car insurance policy.
Some companies can offer you a policy even with a suspended license. I would contact an independent insurance agent that represents multiple carriers.
Not in Canada. If your license is suspended, then any insurance claim that resulted from you driving while suspended would not be covered. If the car was damaged and it was parked and not being operated, then that is covered. But not if you are driving it.
Yes you can get car insurance as a provisional driver with a provisional licence. This is so you can learn in a private vehicle. It has to be under a 1.2 litre i believe. The provisional driver has to be accompanied at all times by some one who has been driving for 3 years or more and is over the age of 21 years. in Maryland you have to have insurance before you can get a license but in north caroilna you have to have license to get insurance so really it depends on what state you live in!
No because when it is suspended it is taken away from you. Yes...in all 50 states, you can buy, own and register a car even if you are suspended. In the state of Georgia, the state will reguire a 6-months prepaid policy along with a SR22A filing in order to get your license back. In the state of Georgia, you can't get insurance with a suspended drivers license cause your not legal to drive with a suspended license.
Well, you need insurance to buy a new car. They want to see your proof. If your insurance company knows your license is suspended then you won't be able to get a car bc you have no insurance. Registering your car requires the State you live in to get involved, so I doubt it, seemingly. They need your license number to do so where they will see you're suspended.
As long as it is not considered a moving violation, which usually require a court hearing, then the insurance will most likely not increase. I'm not sure about the provisional license though, that may have certain execeptions. If it becomes suspended, for any reason then insurance will definetly increase. Greg Nice
If he has to have a car to keep his job, but can't get his license reinstated or pay for the insurance, then he won't be able to keep his job.
Provisional car insurance is a policy that can be purchased by a person who is learning to drive in another person's car. It all depends on her insurance cover
Probably so. And if the owner knew the driver had a suspended license, his insurance probably won't pay.
Most certainly NO ! I couldn't of said it any better.
Your insurance rate goes sky high.

You must have a valid drivers license to rent a car. A suspended license is not a valid one.
Yes, but you have to buy it straight out and you can't drive it on the road! Buying a car on credit, you need a valid Driver License in order to get Insurance. A car dealer wont release a car on credit without proof of insurance and Insurance companies won't give you coverage unless you have a valid Driver License.
