Veoh supports MPG, WMV, AVI, MOV, MP4 and M4V format videos.
Windows Movie Maker supports:
.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmv
As you can see, Veoh video supports a few formats that are also compatible with Windows Movie Maker (.avi, .mpg, .wmv) but does not support .mov, mp4 or .m4v file name extensions.
Therefore, if the Veoh file you have downloaded to your computer does not contain a file name extension (format) compatible with Windows Movie Maker, you will need to convert it before importing it into the program.
Free video converters are available online. Google: free video converters and download one. (I believe the Veoh site offers a free converter download. You may want to check that out). Once you have a video converter downloaded and installed on your system, follow the conversion instructions ensuring the Output Source format is one compatible with Windows Movie Maker.
If the conversion is successful, you should be able to import/edit the newly converted Veoh file in Windows Movie Maker.
