There are two free universal codes (can be used by anybody) that can be obtained by playing a minigame at the McDonald's World game site which will give you the "Death Star" Protocol Droid, and by playing the JetPack Trooper mini-game at StarWars.com which grants the green 74-Z speeder bike.

The rest of the codes have to be obtained by buying Station Cash cards at partipating retailers and these are unique one-time use-only codes that are invalid once used. (a bit redundant, but you'd be surprised at how many people still don't get this after you explain it to them over and over again).

Anyway, the participating retailers at this time are:

Walmart: Commander Cody (helmet, armor, gloves, boots)

Target: Original Anakin Skywalker (armor, gloves, boots, lightsaber)

GameStop: Captain Argyus (helmet, armor, gloves, boots)

Toys R Us: Jetpack Clonetrooper (helmet, armor, gloves, boots)

7-Eleven: Kit Fisto (robes, gloves, boots, lightsaber)

Each outfit set requires at least 4 cards to complete the set. Each card has one 10-digit alpha-numeric code on it which grants one piece of the outfit plus 1000 SC (or 2000 if redeemed on Double SC days)

There is also the Galactic Passport which unlocks the Tagruta playable race which can be bought at Amazon and Walmart amongst other places. It also grants 3 months membership and something like 500 SC, IIRC.
