You catch an elekid holding one. Doing the insertion technique with firered version, you can catch elekids outside of valley wind works. Elekids are hold an eleckitizer 50% of the time in Diamond, but only 5% of the time in Pearl

put firered in the slot [ in nintendo] go to valley windworks and run about the grass. soon a elekid should appear , before you train it check if it is holding an elecktriser , if it is keep training to level 30 then it will evolve to elecktabuzz trade the elecktrabuzz holding the elecktriser and eureka!!! it has evolved!!! p.s make sure the you trade it holding the elecktriser.
