Ok, Well here is what you do first you need to obtain all 3 credit files. 2nd you review them to verify the information is Correct. 3rd you contact the collection agency/ and the apartment complex corporate headquarters and let them know you are considering chapter 7 bankruptcy, do not tell them you are working, do not give your credit card or checking/or saving account number to them. let them know you will settle for 50% of the balance and it will take you 30 days to come up with the money. DONOT BACK DOWN. THEY GET NADA IF YOU FILE CHAPTER 7, they want as much cash as they can get upfront as quickly as possible. let them know you feel bad about what happened with the eviction and your sorry but you are willing to pay 50% of what you owe if they donot accept that advise them you will file chapter 7 pro se with no attorney be/c you cant afford one. let them know you want the eviction removed from public records and from all 3 credit files, and the collection account deleted from whatever credit bureau the reported to. you will be better off having a private atty do this. Evictions do not appear on credit reports unless the person is sued and a judgment is entered against them. Judgments remain on a credit report for 7 eyars. Many judgments are renewable and can therefore remain indefinitely.
I presume owner carry homes are kind of apartments so you can get equity line of credit .
7 to 10 years...sooner if you pay any money owed. Evictions are not entered on credit reports unless the landlord wins a judgment in a lawsuit, then the judgment will be entered in the public records section of the person's CR. There are agencies that list evictions and other renter information, the time limit for an eviction to stay on one of these lists is generally five years.
Are there any apartments in Tacoma that don't require a credit check

They will require a credit check if you wish to move into Huntington Station Apartments. This is done to ensure that you can pay the rent costs on the place.

A well run apartment business should check your credit. Fortunately for you many private individuals rent a single house or duplex and are not well run businesses. Avoid property manager companies and big complexes to avoid credit checks. Visit my website: http://www.poultryguy.info/ for an extensive discussion of rental questions.
You have to have the income 2.5/3x rent traditional, no evictions, and decent credit, without those things it is

First, How long has it been since you were serve with the evictions? It is the same as having bad credit issues. It ios reportable to your credit file. You have to wait for at least seven years before they can be cleared. In the mean time, send copiesof the letters that proved they were dismissed and challenge them with the Credit Bureaus. Worst thing is it will be with you for 7 years. i hope this was helpful.
Evictions are not placed on credit reports. However, if expenses related to an eviction are sent for collections, that will be reported. Also there are tenant screening lists where an eviction can be reported and might create a problem in obtaining future housing.
