fist of all you need to of bought the legendary version then you enter the codes as if they were Microsoft point cards then start up halo reach go to armory the flaming helm is an effect and recon is a helm ( obvious )

when playing multilayer, enable "recon armor." Also, if you are a bungie employee, you get Bungie armor, which is the same as Recon Armor except different design and your head wil be on fire.THE BUNGIE ARMORIS JUST BODY ARMOR. THATS WHAT MAKES YOUR HEAD ON FIRE. U CAN WEAR ANY HELMET WITH IT.
What is halo 3 recon armor?
To unlock the "Recon" Armour permutations, you must complete all "Vidmaster" achievements across Halo 3 & Halo 3 O.D.S.T, once all these are completed, you must have a Bungie.net account, when you are logged in on the site, you should see a box saying "Road To Recon" when you click on this you should see a message saying you have unlocked recon armour or somthing similar, and so when you next play Halo 3 and check the armour set screen, you can put recon on your spartan. Can you make a Nerf recon belt fed?
As far as people are concerned you cant belt feed a recon cs-6 rifle. If you could it would cost a lot of money to get the parts as the vulcan`s motor, bolt and other parts would not fit in the recon as the recon is rifle and not as big. If you could though it would be to heavy and there for un-weildly. Also the recon is a rifle and is not designed to shoot 25+ darts at once. edit by Kyle: It is ossible, but major mods are needed including using a haxsaw on the plunger and such

Bungie (game producer) used to give it out for you doing something amazing or original, now however it can be acquired by completing the achievements marked as vidmasters. There are seven, once they are done visit your profile on bungie.net and click unlock recon

Why yes you can get Recon that way, but you also have to get the Vidmaster Achievements as well. It sucks but yeah that's how much Bungie wants you to work on it. But don't worry you can just get the Vidmaster Achievements instead of having to do the campaign on legendary instead. Then once you have it you make an account on Bungie.net and press the "Get Recon!" button on your profile! Hope that helps! ;)

Yes you can. You have to do something that Bungie likes. Like make a really good map and it becomes a Bungie employ's favorite map. actually that doesn't work. But when ODST hits market you can. For now work on the Vidmaster achievements, there are 4 now but will be 7 in Fall with ODST. Once all 7 are unlocked, Recon is. Well it's your choice afterall Even tho I'm a fanatic Fable fan. I also preordered it. But since you can get 2 games, its better. I'd still prefer Fable 3 because it will be an Awesome game. And if you preorder you will get a big bunch of stuff. Also you can get fable 2 for a very good price once Fable 3 is released.

NO... bungie does not except modded maps i tried it once and so did my friend we both failed, but they also took my E.O.D ARMOR.
