Fumigation license has to be obtained from directorate of plant quarantine & storage, minitry of agriculture. Govt. Of India.

There are two restricted pesticides viz. Aluminium phosphide and methyl bromide - fumigants allowed for fumigation by the directorate.

License are different for both fumigants. There are standards nspm 11 & 12 for methyl bromide and nspm 22 for aluminium phosphide fumigation.For More Details and consultation, contact 9372333320

There are three essential requirements for getting fumigation license in India.

1. You must have a technical person graduated in chemistry or agriculture.

2. This technical person must have pursued 15 days training of fumigation from notified institute.

3. You must purchase the essential equipment's enlisted by the plant Quarantine department of central agriculture ministry.

For Methyl bromide licence,

1. The total cost to get this license is approximately 4.50 lakhs.

2. This includes all government fee, essential equipments purchase cost, training and accommodation cost for 15 days, audit expenses and consultation charges.

3. The timeline of whole process of getting the fumigation license in India starting from the training day one is of about 100 to 120 days.

4. The fumigation license is valid for a period of two years and need to be renewed every two years.
