You first have to get 4 expert ghost staff which to unlock is to win early on time trials then beat the expert staff ghost (which will appear by the way) do that on 4 tracks or on the same track 4 times and there :) i hoped this answer helped

2. Press A as it shows up and put your license and press 1 player.
3. Go to time trials.
4. Put in your character and vehicle and press automatic or manuel.

Funky Kong: Unlock four expert staff ghost data in Time Trials Mode. So you have to go to Time Trials and beat the easy ghosts in 4 courses. If you complete a course in a certain amount of time or less than you will unlock an expert ghost. So complete 4 different courses as fast as you can and unlock 4 expert staff ghosts.
Dry Bowser: Get a one star rank or more in all 150cc Wii Cups in Grand Prix. Go to Grand Prix and go to the 150cc Cups. You have to beat all of the cups and get a one star rank or more in every cup.

If you want to know so you can unlock Funkey Kong there is an easier way. All you need is wi-fi. To get Funkey Kong you need to beat 25 wi-fi ghost races. This is how I did it. If you aren't as good at racing as me, you can also do (about) 3,340 races. REMEMBER: To get your funkey kong, you have to win ONE real race (i.e, Mushroom Cup, Shell Cup, Special Cup, ect.) If you want to know so you can unlock characters other than Funkey Kong (first thank you for being patent) you need to beat the staff ghost(s) by AT LEAST 7 seconds. Some tracks only need 5 or, 6 seconds. I won't say wich ones though. *cough* *Mushroom Gorge* Others need more than 7 seconds. So, good luck!!! ;)
