you can't transfer gen. II with gen III. For some reason, game freak didn't do it that way. But, they are making DS remakes of Gold and Silver. They should come out in spring of 2010. Good luck :P

Houndour was a Pokemon released in Generation III. Pokemon Gold is a Generation II game. Houndoor was not introduced at that time. Therefore, you cannot get Houndour in Pokemon Gold.
