Dog flee and tick shampoo works great, is inexpensive and doesn't burn. It sounds funny but it worked great. Lather up the hair really good and then put a towel on it for a while, do this a couple times and the lice will be gone easy, cheap and painless.
Be sure to was bedding and worn clothes after getting ride of lice and then maybe do one more hair treatment.

∙ 9y agoYou can get lice by sharing combs, hats, brushes, or hair ties with someone who has the bug. You can even get it by putting your head on their pillow or hugging them. I got lice once from a girl at camp and I don't ever share my hair things with anyone for that reason. So it is very easy to get them. But don't worry, it doesn't make you a gross person if you happen to get it. Just get a strong lice shampoo/nit comb and get the little suckers out.
They spread from person to person when kids' heads touch, but can also be spread by sharing clothing, headphones, hats, combs, towels, or toys.

∙ 12y agoif you are a boy then you should shave your head. if you are a girl, put mayonaise in your hair, leave it in all day, sleep in it, and in the morning wash it out. then flat-iron your hair.
