How fast is fast? If you drink a lot of water in the days leading up to a normal urine test and drink a lot before the test you should test clean after 7-10 days. Don't use your first urine of the day for a test. It will have a higher concentration of opiates in it. If you have to take a spectrograph urine test your screwed for about a month. I know from experience.

You can't.

Well, I guess I can't "improve" on the answer above but i can shed some doubt on the validity of the answer.

My friend took Hydrocodone yesterday - and all days for the past two or three weeks as I recall. The urine test that she took this morning said that she had no Hydrocodone in her urine.

I saw her take it yesterday and I saw her take a few of the other days, as well.

...so.... do figure... there must be a way.... in fact, I waas looking zt this question to try and figure out how come she might have come back "negative"...something she ate ? ...the alrge amount of water she drinks everyday? something.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "3" in this case. Is that supposed to be a dosage?

The serum half-life for hydrocodone is about 4 hours, meaning that in four hours there's about half of it left, in 8 hours about a quarter, in 12 hours about an eighth, and so on. It should be noted that those are averages, and some people metabolize it faster or slower.

However, unless you're a pharmacist or physician (in which case you should already know where to look up the information yourself... and you should do so rather than relying on something you found on the internet, unless you feel that what you really need in life is a good malpractice lawsuit), that's probably not what you're interested in knowing, because while the hydrocodone itself is disappearing, it's largely doing so by turning into other opiates (hydromorphone and norhydrocodone), which will also be detected by the same drug test. In general, you can reasonably expect opiate levels to drop to undetectable quantities in urine, saliva, and blood after a week unless you're a heavy user. Pretty much anything detectable in hair will be detectable for three months or so, and yes, opiates are detectable in hair.
