They believe that boo is a killer and will kill anyone that knocks on his door.
Dill dared Jem to run up to Boo Radley's house and touch the porch.
Dill dared Jem to go up to the Radley house and knock on the door. It is easily seen that Jem has his pride, but is also frightened by the house. Dill sees Jem's fear and decides to lighten the dare by saying all he had to do was touch the house. Hoped that helped. (:
Makes her go up and touch the front door of Boo Radley's house.
Jem, Scout, and Dill go through a hole in the fence of the Radleys. Jem goes to see in the window and the rest of the gang stays near the porch but not near the window. They see a shadow and get scared. They all run back to the hole. Dill and Scout gets away but Jem gets his pants stuck, which eventually rips. They all go near their houses. Dill gets called back to his home. But Jem go gets his pants. Scout stays at her spot. There is a gunshot and Jem comes back to the spot. They are both safe and get called back to their house by Atticus. Mr. Raddley killed a black man with his gun.
Jem touches the house, because Dill dares him to. And Jem doesn't want to be a coward, so he does it to prove to Dill that he is not afraid.because he was dares by Dill to touch it. Since Jem always takes dares, he did it.
yes jem is courageous
