Best Answer

Put it into a DVD player or a computer that has a DVD drive in order to read the information on it.

The "RW" means re-writable. Meaning you can erase the information on it and use it again.

No. A used DVD-R or DVD+R is a used disk. If you stuffed up when you burnt it, bad luck. A DVD-RW or +RW is a different story altogether. RW stands for rewritable, so the disk can be used again - in other words, you can add stuff to it, or write over it.

What type disk is needed to burn a DVD?

Generally speaking, many DVD players could support many DVD disk, including DVD-r, DVD+r, DVD-rw, DVD+rw. If your DVD player could support those four kinds of disks, then make sure your DVD burner could also support them. Take an example, the DVD burner I use could burn movies and videos to DVD-r, DVD+r, DVD-rw, DVD+rw. Then it's up to you which disc to use. You may download one and try it by your self. wish it helps!
