There is no age restriction for PG-13 movies. You do not have to be 13 to see a PG-13 movie. The rating simply means parents are "strongly cautioned," as the film may contain material that some parents might find inappropriate for a child under 13.

The only age restrictions are for R and NC-17 movies. Kids under 17 cannot see an R movie in theaters without an adult, and they cannot see an NC-17 movie in theaters at all.
