How do you get into acting or modeling?

The best way is to find legit and reputable agencies local to you (within a 2 hour's drive). If you want to be an actor then you will need to search for talent agencies and if you want to be a model then you will need to search for a modeling agency. If you want to do both, then find a talent agency...they often represent both models and actors. Many times the name will have "Model & Talent" in it but even if it says it is just a Talent Agency, they more than likely represent models as well.

Visit their websites, which will give you all the information you'll need to know, including what kind of pictures to send, FAQs, and if they hold open casting calls (certain days and time when you can go in and interview with the agency without the need for an appointment).
