When you unlock the puzzles for each book, you get a replicator card. A replicator card can be used to unlock a common or uncommon card. 3 replicator cards can be used to get a rare card..

Replicators are special cards on The 39 Clues website that can turn into other cards as needed which you click the "replicate" button on a card that you don't have yet.There are several ways to get more replicators:Every time you collect a new clue, by cards, books, or missions, you get 1 replicator card.For every book that you have solved all of its puzzles (see "Books" section online), you get 1 replicator card.When you purchase Card Pack 1, 2, or 3 of The 39 Clues, there will be 1 or 3 replicators inside.When you purchase The 39 Clues Card Pack 4, there will be a special replicator card worth 10 replicators inside.
Once you have collected all the cards for a certin book, you unlock the question for the book. Once you complete the book question, you get a replicator.
