You can get moves from special events by clicking on the virtual furry friends who are located all around Build-A-Bearville. When furry friends come in Bearville with new quests, some of them may offer a move as a prize. You can also get moves from entering web codes which can be found online. There is no guarantee that they still work, however.

When the Chloe Show is featuring a new guest, be sure to stop by! They often give out new moves which will be retired shortly after. Another way you can get moves is from the Bearville Outfitters store, which is located in Town Square, where you can buy moves for 3 credits each.

If you have the Huggable Heroes 2010 calender that was available for a limited time only at Build-A-Bear Workshop, you can enter the four codes included in it starting the specific month they come out (January, April, July, October)

Sometimes there are beary special offers available at Build-A-Bear Workshop. In October 2009, purchasing a furry friend and entering its Animal ID and Key Code onto Build-A-Bearville rewarded you with a move. Also, in 2009, while McDonald's was including miniature Build-A-Bears in Happy Meals, bringing one to your local Build-A-Bear Workshop would reward you with a code for your virtual character and your furry friend!
