Using nail varnish remover, dab at it with cotton wool. For the slippers you will have to work on the varnish side. For the shirt, dab through from the wrong side with some remover soaked cotton wool on the right side as well. Then wash on a moderate wash.
nail polish can be dissolved with nail polish remover (acetone) but this will often spread the stain, or remove color from the shirt. (Polish remover will dissolve acetate fabrics!)
You may be able to blot it off if it has not set, using a cloth dampened with acetone. Other cleaners, such as lighter fluid (naphtha) and cleaning fluid (tetrachloroethylene, dimethylbenzene) may also remove some or all of the stain, with the same problems of possible damage to the shirt.
Sometimes nail polish will "chip off" from polyester when it dries, but this depends again on the fabric, and if it is protected with stain repellent. The best results have been obtained by "flushing" the fabric with cleaning fluid so that the polish is absorbed by a cloth placed under it.
Not sure if this will work for a cotton bed spread but it should - to get it out out a microfiber couch one time I mixed rubbing alcohol with non-acetone nail polish remover and used a cotton ball and just rubbed it on.. worked fine, and the color was a bright pink on a light tan couch, Hope this works!
