- Give the feed to the boy for his chickens.
- Take the chicken he gives you to the farm across the bridge.
- The farmer will give you a blue candle.
- At the Governor's House, use the candle to read the parchment.
- Go back to the store and get the broken mirror at upper right inside.
- Climb to the telescope at the fort and look for the raft.
- Signal the raft and it will come ashore.
Until you read the parchment, all you will see through the telescope is pirates.
