try to use rubbing alcohol or goo gone that should work it might take a while though but that would be my best bet
You can buy a razor blade at a hardware store. (Ace) and it scrapes scotch tape off easily. If you need to get the marks off use Goo Gone.
You can get old tape off an object that has been sitting for a long time and won't come off by using a product like Goo Gone. It is designed to break down the adhesive and allow the tape to be easily removed.
im no pro but i suggest you try taking off the old grip take before putting the new on. taking the old off wash the wood a bit, let it dry then put your new tape on ! :D
No, you'll make it worse. Just leave it alone.
If you roll up a ball of blue tack and rub it against the blue tack on the wall it comes off easily. Or, if like me you don't have any fresh blue tack available, I used blue painters tape. I got as much off the wall as I could by hand, and then placed the blue painters tape over the spots and pressed it into the orange-peel texture as much as possible, then peeled off the tape with the remaining blue-tack stuck to the tape. Do this a couple of times over each spot until clean.
Yes, if you want ugly walls.
how to get chalk off showetr walls
The adhesive used on sticky tape is unstable, and never really sets solid. So creepage occurs over time, as does yellowing of the tape.

I wouldn't use masking tape for moving purposes. Masking tape is usually used for painting, to tape off walls. It's easily removable as to not harm the paint, so it's not ideal for packing boxes. You can use masking tape for your move, but it's not the best solution. You should go down to your local post office. They should have some packing tape for sale. But if masking tape is all you have, it should work out OK.
