After collecting all 3 starcures, ensure you give them to dr.toadly.

you will then access peach's castle. after a boss fight (with a robot bin, strange as it sounds,) you will be out of the safe.

By the way, a few minutes after wards, get yourself a cuppa. you will get frozen out whilst bowsers back heals.
