- No one likes the feeling of rejection and heartache and time is the healer of getting over a broken relationship. Thousands of people go through heartache over someone they care or love and the majority survive and go on to meet the right person that should be in their life and was meant for them. The best thing to do is to realize this heartache will not last forever; not give the young man the satisfaction of seeing you mope around and get out with friends for a bit of fun and out in society so you can meet that special young man that is meant to be with you. Enjoy your youth and date as often as you like while you can because youth slips away quickly so do not waste it by letting any young man cause you heartache.

If you have real feelings that are something other than physical, go for it! Although it doesn't sound like it, if you have no interest in dating this person, find other guys (even if they're just friends) to hang out with. Get your mind off him as completely as possible and you'll soon move on.
