To get over your shyness around girls, the first thing you want to do is to change your mindset.
You probably don't think too highly of yourself if you are feeling this way for the fear of what they will think or what they would say if you spoke to them.
The following are some things you can do to start to overcome this:
1. Smile! By smiling you are making yourself more approachable thus making other girls more open towards to you.
2. Dress confidently. If you dress in a presentable manner and put a bit of effort in, you'll start feeling better about yourself. Get that haircut and buy that shirt that is going to make you a bit more pleasing to look at.
3. Since you are shy, you are going to have some trouble communicating. Have some questions ready to ask people and practice asking these questions in front of a mirror.
This should give you a good start to overcoming shyness around girls.
