Use your magnifying glass when you're facing the tree and it will say:
After carefully searching, you manage to find a small tunnel beneath the giant old tree and crawl through to the other side!
Then you find the Unicorn. Don't try and catch him, it will poof you to the beginning of the maze. Just talk to him and you will have completed your quest!
Reward: 2 Diamonds and 200 Quest Points.
