How do you beat the mind control guy on super power island?

The police will not let you go Downtown (right) from Main Street on Super Power Island. The guard at the County Prison is also blocking you. This is because you aren't a "real superhero" yet.

You need a Superhero ID Card from the "Masks and Capes" costume store. You can get a costume if you want, but it's not required. Once you are "official" you can go left to the County Prison, where the warden has a briefing for you on the escaped super-villains, along with some special handcuffs with which to apprehend them.

You will need to defeat 5 of the villains (Copycat, Speeding Spike, Sir Rebral, Ratman, and Crusher) using only your wits. Only then will you receive your super Flying Power to catch Betty Jetty.

Answer 2

Sir Rebral will throw rocks at you with his mind power. Make him hit himself with one (jump up near him while a rock's coming at you). He will get mad and begin yanking up chunks of the ground to hit you. Slide the rock from the right side (near the restroom) over toward him, just a bit right of directly under him (between the statue base and the bench). When he yanks up the ground, the rock will hit him.

If you miss, you will need to recover the rock to try again.

Cuff him and you will get credit on your Superhero ID.

When you enter Super Power Island, you cannot go to Downtown until you have the materials you need from the County Prison (left of Main Street). To get to see the warden, you need to be an official Superhero, and you can get your Superhero ID from the Masks and Capes store (you do not have to wear a costume).

Sir Rebral is tossing rocks around with his telekinetic power. Jump up close to him when he does this and the rock will hit him instead. Then he will begin pulling up chunks of the ground to hit you. Push the small rock over from the restroom area, and place it just to the right of directly under him. When he yanks up the ground, it will fly up and knock him out. Put on the hnadcuffs and he goes back to prison.

To get to the jail, swim to the left of where you arrive and you will see the jail that has a meteor on it. But before you can talk to the warden, you need an official superhero ID card from the Masks and Capes costume store.

The prison is to the left of Main Street, across the bay. You need a Superhero ID (from the Masks and Capes costume store) in order to talk to the warden.
